Every vehicle is
telling you something

FIXCAR builds diagnostics and connected-vehicle software that turns raw signals from a car into something a person can act on — whether that person is the driver, the workshop that fixes it, or the team running a hundred of them.

A car has been able to describe its own faults for decades. Almost nobody who drives one can hear it.

That gap is a software problem, and it is the only one we work on. We are a small, engineering-led company building the layer that translates a vehicle to the people responsible for it.

  • Diagnostics that explain themselvesA fault code becomes a sentence, not a lookup.
  • Built on the vehicle’s own dataWe interpret what the car already reports about itself.
  • Made for real workshop routinesDesigned around how a bay actually runs its day.
  • Privacy considered from the startVehicle data is personal data. We treat it that way.
Solutions

Software that reads a vehicle the way a good technician would

The same problem seen from four angles: understanding the vehicle, staying connected to it, supporting the people who repair it, and giving fleet teams a view they can trust.

01

Vehicle diagnostics

Read what a vehicle reports about itself and turn it into plain language. Fault codes stop being an opaque string and start being a description of the problem, its likely causes, and what it means for the person driving.

  • Fault code interpretation
  • Guided checks
  • Readable reports
02

Connected-vehicle software

Software that keeps a link open between a vehicle and the people responsible for it, so changes in condition surface while they are still small — not after something has already failed by the roadside.

  • Live vehicle status
  • Condition alerts
  • Service history in context
03

Tools for workshops

Diagnostics designed around how a workshop actually runs its day: get to a defensible diagnosis quickly, keep a record of what was checked, and hand the customer an explanation they can follow.

  • Faster triage
  • Shareable findings
  • Consistent records
04

Fleet visibility

One view across many vehicles instead of a spreadsheet and a phone. See which vehicles need attention now, which can wait, and where maintenance effort is actually going.

  • Fleet-wide health view
  • Maintenance signals
  • Exportable data
How we work

From signal to decision

Collecting vehicle data is largely a solved problem. Deciding what deserves someone’s attention, and saying so clearly, is not.

  1. 01

    Listen to the vehicle

We start with the signals the vehicle already produces — control unit data, fault codes, sensor readings — and capture them reliably, without asking anyone to be an expert first.

  2. 02

    Make it mean something

Raw data is not an answer. We interpret it into a picture of the vehicle: what is normal, what changed, what is worth acting on, and what can safely be left alone for now.

  3. 03

Put it in front of a person

The result belongs in the hands of whoever has to decide. Drivers get clarity, workshops get a head start, and fleet teams get a view they can plan around.

About us

An automotive technology company, built around one idea

FIXCAR LLC is a US-registered company working on the distance between what a vehicle knows about itself and what its owner is ever told. We build slowly, test against real vehicles and real workshops, and try to ship things that still make sense a year later.
